Vampires are humanoid entities that need to feed off of alternative food sources, including blood and different energy forms (elemental, energy, emotions). Some vampires feed off both blood and energy, while others feed on one or the other. Vampires are born as vampires. They cannot turn other people into vampires.

Due to many stigmas (ex. Hollywood films, negative portrayals), vampires tend to 'stay in the dark' and avoid public knowledge of their condition.

Characteristics[]

This is a list of characteristics that some vampires possess. However, it is not necessary for these characteristics to be present for someone to be a vampire; these characteristics can also be present among people who aren't vampires.

  • Photosensitivity
    • This does connect to having the ability to see well in low light levels.
    • Heightened senses and abilities may also appear.
  • Insomnia and nocturnal habits

Other[]

Vampires are not immune to diseases.

Vampires can eat garlic, as well as anything else (provided that they are not allergic to it).

There is much uncertainty about vampires aging and whether or not they are immortal.

Myths from folklore tend to be inaccurate. This includes vampires not being able to cross running water, not appearing in mirrors, etcetera.

Vampires do not have fangs, unless other genetics say otherwise.

While some vampires may appear to be younger than they actually are, they do not seem to be physically immortal.
